WHY THIS PROJECT EXISTS
This project exists because of a simple combination of interests: sim racing, engineering, and learning new skills. The handbrake started as a personal engineering project built out of curiosity and the desire to create something functional while improving design, manufacturing, and electronics skills.
Over time the design evolved into a product that others in the sim racing community might also find useful. It is still very much a small independent project, and that mindset remains part of the product itself.
